Against this backdrop, a sector-wide shift. appeared to emerge: the industry is moving away from high-level sentiment and toward actionable sustainability frameworks designed to deliver demonstrable value.

As a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment framework (“UNPRI”) since 2021, Georgian has remained aligned with the UNPRI’s six guiding principles for responsible investment — principles that have anchored our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) program.

Consistent with our Responsible Investment Policy and Procedures, Georgian's ESG program is intended to be pragmatic, data-driven and operationally aligned with the interests of our key stakeholders.. We continue to consider ESG factors as enabling metrics within our broader operational risk framework — tracking them throughout the investment lifecycle, from pre-investment diligence to post-investment monitoring, and, where applicable, board oversight. This approach is intended to help us identify material sustainability risks and aims to strengthen the long-term operational resilience of our portfolio companies.

ESG and AI Governance

The software market’s structural shift, driven primarily by the mainstream adoption of AI, was another significant trend that we observed in 2025. Enterprise software companies are increasingly shifting their budgets toward AI capabilities, including agentic so.ware capable of automating core workflows.

For Georgian, responsible AI development and deployment is emerging as another dimension of how we define and assess sustainability. In practice, our approach has been to engage certain stakeholders across our ecosystem on AI adoption and governance. In 2025, Georgian’s stakeholder engagement was focused on three fronts: supporting AI literacy among investors, establishing our baseline understanding of AI governance maturity across the portfolio and strengthening AI adoption and infrastructure.

Taken together, the themes of the 2025 reporting period reflect a continued recalibration — both across the sustainability sector and within the operating frameworks that govern capital deployment, risk identification and technology management. At Georgian, we continue to approach these questions pragmatically, with ESG being a factor in how we assess risk across our firm and our portfolio.
