Emily Walsh

Emily Walsh is a Lead Investor at Georgian. Emily joined Georgian in 2016 and was promoted to Lead Investor in 2018. Since then, Emily has led 10 Growth Fund investments, focusing on high-growth business software companies including Render, PolyAI, Vention, Contentstack, Dagster Labs and Finxact (exited). Emily also represents Georgian as a board director or board observer for several portfolio companies.

Her investment leadership is complemented by her experience as a former McKinsey & Co. management consultant, where she specialized in organizational transformation and digital innovation for finance and insurance institutions.

Emily holds an MBA in Finance from The Johnson School at Cornell University, where she was a Park Leadership Fellow, and a BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School.
