Madalin Mihailescu

Madalin Mihailescu is Chief Technology Officer at Georgian, where he leads our AI Lab. Madalin focuses on supporting Georgian's portfolio companies to bring AI products to market and increase operational efficiency through the use of AI.

Prior to joining Georgian, Madalin worked in the Advanced Technology Group at NetApp where he researched trends impacting NetApp's business, including cloud computing, emerging database software, and non-volatile memories. Before NetApp, Madalin built PaaS and IaaS cloud management software.

Madalin holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Toronto with a research focus on distributed data storage and analytics software.
