Sarah Patterson

Sarah Patterson is Legal Counsel & Compliance Lead at Georgian, where she supports the implementation of Georgian's risk and compliance programs, provides regulatory and compliance advice and administers Georgian's comprehensive compliance monitoring program.

Prior to joining Georgian, Sarah was at OMERS, where she held progressively senior roles relating to OMERS global regulatory and compliance programs supporting private equity, growth equity, ventures and other private markets strategies, finishing her tenure there as Director of Legal & Compliance. Previously, Sarah was a Legal Consultant at Deloitte Canada.

Sarah holds a Juris Doctor from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Laws in Civil Law from Université de Montréal.
