Sonia Lagourgue

Sonia Lagourgue leads Purpose & ESG at Georgian, developing and executing the firm's multifaceted ESG strategy to enhance sustainability and responsible investment practices. Prior to this role, Sonia led Georgian's Community Executive Program, fostering peer-to-peer collaboration among portfolio company leaders.

Before joining Georgian, Sonia was Director of Corporate Innovation at MaRS Discovery District, working with enterprise clients on innovation strategy and startup engagement, and previously held leadership positions at Felix Global Corp. and Surcorp Group.

Sonia holds a Master's degree in English from York University, an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English and History from York University, and certificates in Corporate Sustainability and Sustainable Finance & ESG Investing from NYU Stern School of Business.
