David Court is a Director Emeritus at McKinsey & Company. He was previously the firm’s Global Director of Technology, Digitization and Communications, led McKinsey’s global practice in harnessing digital data and advanced analytics from 2011 to 2015, and was a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and its Global Operating Committee. 

David is a director of Brookfield Business Partners, Canadian Tire Corporation, the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, Queen’s University, and Plan Canada International. He is also a member of the National Geographic International Council of Advisors.

David has been an active author on marketing, strategy and advanced analytics including in both the Harvard Business Review and the McKinsey Quarterly. David had a 30 year career at McKinsey and worked in 5 McKinsey offices across the globe.  Prior to that, he worked in brand management at Procter & Gamble in Toronto. He holds a BCom from Queen’s University and an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar.
